The duracore range of carbide slitting saw blades are produced in accordance to DIN 1387 / 1838. Shelf stocked as metric with no keyway, imperial slitting saw blades are made to order. In comparison to HSS, carbide blades offer faster cutting speeds and feed rates, giving them superior cutting properties and great durability through retaining the cutting edge for longer. Duracore carbide slitting saws are Ideal for production cutting where a reduction in component unit cost is wanted, or where arduous applications require a tougher saw blade.
Fine tooth (A) form – DIN1837
Shallow cutting or for thin wall tubes.
Coarse tooth (B) form – DIN1838
Deep slotting or heavy wall tubes/solids.
Circular slitting saw blades for jewellery
The slitting saw blades we supply for jewellery production are made from HSS or Carbide and feature tooth form (A) with a tooth pitch finer than 1 mm ensuring very precise cuts for delicate pieces.
