Imet GBS 218 GH Manual Bandsaw
Gravity cutting action metal cutting bandsaw suitable for maintenance workshops and medium fabrication applications. The 218 GH is ideal for cutting sectional steel material, bars, tubes, and solids. One way easy swing head for mitre cutting with positive stops of 0°, 45°, 60° and features a precision scale for easily setting different cut angles.
This particular bandsaw comes with blade guides featuring hard metal pads for extended wear, a safe start push button on the handle of the saw, and an error warning light for enhanced operator safety. This is a sturdy saw with the frame being made from cast iron, and inclined to 42 deg to reduce pressure on the bandsaw blade while cutting.
Imet pivot bandsaws feature a 3 way Autocut function, enabling the operator to choose from the following cutting modes:
A: Manual Cut
B: Rapid approach to the material
C: Automatic cut with autonomous lowering and stopping via micro-switch at the end of the cut.
