Imet KS 450 FT

This is the compact version of KS450, suitable to cut structural steel, pipe, profile and beams. Mitre cutting up to 60° left and right, easy stop on 0°,45° left, 45° right.

Minimal lubrication system for band saws - mist spray
Addimist Bandsaw

Pure oil micro-mist blade lubrication system recommended for cutting tubes and sectional material where flood lubricant loss through the material is a problem. This precision delivery system allows adjustment for the number of pulses per min, and the quantity of each dose. (requires compressed air supply) The standard flood system is retained for cutting solid material and the operator can simply switch between systems.

Saw Frame

KS 450FT is equipped with rigid welded steel  section bow and 360mm pulleys. Rotation of the arc deploys precision bearings to ensure head rotation is without friction. The optimal alignment of the blade is guaranteed by the blade guide with inserts in carbide and additional pre-twist bearings which reduce blade body fatigue and premature failure.

Vice

Full stroke hydraulic vice with 460mm stroke. Can be easily and quickly positioned either side of the sawblade depending on mitre direction. It is standard with a pressure reducer for thin wall material.

Working table

The work surface of the KS 450 FT solid plate with clearance flutes for common angles; the table is equipped with a system automatic stops at 45 ° left, 0 ° and 45 ° right. All other inclinations are viewable through the graduated scale on the cutting table.

Material Detection Device

Device to automatically detect the material height, this unit allows fast approach to the material before switching to the selected speed for the cutting cycle. The blade is only raised 1mm above the cut piece to reduce cycle times.

Cutting Control

The KS450FT is equipped with a mobile control console with  LED confirmation for tensioning the blade, opening of the blade guard, motor thermal block and electrical tension. Through the control panel the operator can choose between 3 different ways of cutting end: return of the blade – not running – running or not returning after cut end.

Blade guide system

Very important to get this right in any bandsaw, heavy steel guide arms support a precision set of pre-twist roller bearings and solid carbide blade guides to give maximum precision and performance.

Loading/unloading roller table (Optional)

Roller conveyor suitable for the unloading and loading side. Length 1.5m, 1 pedestal, max loading 1500kg.

Unloading roller table (Optional)

Unloading roller table with digital display and manual movement : -RTL3KS600 Measuring length of 3m, 3 pedestals, max loading 3000kg; -RTL6KS600 Measuring length of 6m, 5 pedestals, max loading 6000kg.
