The moving head is electronically positioned to a tollerence of 0.1mm. There are memories for profile codes and the respective height dimensions. Job input is simple, the operator can program cutting lists and save to the standard floppy disk, or perform a quick semi automatic cut. Cutting lists can also be received from external data source with the appropriate interface.

The machine is equipped with some clever standard features, for example the 4000mm machine will perform cuts automatically up to 7000mm, and this system works in reverse and will reduce the minimum physical dimension by a further 100mm to produce very short pieces. There is an additional function for automatic cutting, (cleat cutting), by inputting the material stock length - the number of piece required & the piece length the machine will use the moving head as the material feeder with the static head cutting the pieces. The tilting of the saw heads is pneumatic. OPTIONS, include label printer, sound reducing safety cabinet with automatic doors, full swarf extraction system, digital display of the cutting angles.

SW453 Reverse Vico-3 is identical to the standard machine with the addition of 3 axis motorised electronic setting of the cutting angles, this is ideal for applications where many different angles are required.

The SW453-Garda is physically the same as the above machines, the difference is windows XP based control system with 10.4" touch screencolour TFT monitor which contains, bar optimisation, cutting list storage, and all of the features of the Astra & Plug versions. SW453-Garda-3 Identical to the standard machine with the addition of 3 axis motorised digital setting of the cutting angles. This is a very interesting machine for applications where many changes of the cutting angle are required.
