Scissor action band saws are ideal workshop machines, available in either the traditional horizontal design with fixed or swivel head or more recently the very popular and flexible mitre cut-off style. These are produced in many variants, with one or two way mitre, manual or gravity feed, semi-auto and fully automatic systems.
Designed for higher rigidity, twin column bandsaws are ideally suited to cutting larger solids and sectional ferrous material. Available with either a horizontal blade for solid materials, or an inclined sawblade which is more efficient when cutting sectional material, a fixed head for 90 degree billet cutting and swing head for mitre cutting sections.
Addison started in 1956 by importing the first ever circular cold saws into the UK. This was very advanced technology for its time compared to the widely used power hack saws. Our range of Imet cold saws are widely recognised as the best money can buy and Everising offer the most advanced high speed carbide billet saws with thier brand new "B" series machines.
With probably the largest range of vertical bandsaws we offer a choice of standard or special products to cover every application imaginable.
